Detroit Jazz City Orchestra Plus

Benefit concert for the Crockett-Lumumba Scholars program at WSU and the General Baker Institute featuring renowned Detroit jazz collective, the Detroit Jazz City Orchestra Plus.

The Detroit Jazz City Orchestra Plus will perform a show rooted in the rich musical history of Detroit, which will include original pieces by members of the Orchestra, covers of works created by legendary Detroit jazz musicians, the music of Stevie Wonder, and a surprise performance that fuses jazz with hip-hop lyricism.
